COFFEE

At Salvo Bakehouse we only want to use the best quality products available to us.
“The term ‘specialty coffee’ refers to the highest quality green coffee beans roasted to their greatest flavor potential.”
Speciality coffee is defined as any coffee that scores above 80 points on a 100 point scale.
Typically, specialty coffee is grown at high altitudes, with much care and attention from the farmer. From there, it is sold at a premium to coffee traders, or direct to roasters.
The roasters then create custom profiles for each coffee, enhancing and highlighting their natural flavors.
We carefully select the coffee we use in our Bakehouse. Some of the factors we take into consideration are the origins of the coffee beans and that the farmers get a fair price for their hard work. We choose to work with single origin or direct trade coffees, paying extra close attention to the harvesting, processing, shipping and roasting of the beans.
This is why we partner up with local coffee roasters for some of the best & sustainable coffee available.

The barista’s at the Bakehouse are equipped with the right tools and knowledge to get the best cup of coffee out of our carefully selected coffee beans.

Our aim is to showcase what world of coffee has to offer, highlight different qualities and flavors of different beans from different regions and harmoniously combine them with our bakes & pastries.

We get our coffee beans freshly roasted to our specifications each week, so we always have the freshest and most delicious cup of coffee for you each day.
